DEPARTMENTALLY RELATED STANDING COMMITTEE ON LABOUR INVITES SUGGESTIONS ON 'THE INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS CODE, 2019’ AND ‘THE CODE ON SOCIAL SECURITY, 2019'.

Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha has referred 'The Industrial Relations Code, 2019’ and ‘The Code on Social Security, 2019', as introduced in Lok Sabha to the Standing Committee on Labour for examination and report. Considering the wider implications of the proposed Bills on the overall welfare and security of the workers across the country, the Committee under the Chairmanship of Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab, MP have decided to invite memoranda containing views/suggestions from the public in general and NGOs/Experts/Stakeholders and Institutions in particular separately on both the Codes.

Those desirous of submitting written memoranda/suggestions to the Committee may send copy thereof separately on each Code either in English or in Hindi to DIRECTOR (AN-II&L), LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, ROOM NO.330, PARLIAMENT HOUSE ANNEXE, NEW DELHI110001,TEL.NOs.23034330/23035707,FAX NUMBER: 23011697 and e-mail the same to comm.labour-lss@sansad.nic.in within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. 3. The memoranda/suggestions submitted to the Committee would form part of the records of the Committee and would be treated as ‘confidential’ and enjoy privileges of the Committee.
4. Those who are desirous of appearing before the Committee, besides submitting written memoranda, are requested to specifically indicate so. However, the Committee’s decision in this regard shall be final.
